The Bounty

And here is the result of all the hard work! Such a bounty! No wonder people walked across this country to get to Oregon. It's rich, volcanic soil enables you to grow just about anything here!

We grew; tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs of all kinds, eggplant, butternut squash, summer squash, onions, lettuce raspberries, apples (started when we moved in), broccoli, cauliflower cabbage, collard greens, pumpkins chili Peppers

I am now the Salsa King, using fresh tomatoes, chili peppers, and cilantro! And Lana has prepared some fantastic new dishes using butter nut squash. Her pumpkin soup is to die for!
